Soilux Returns & Refund Policy

1 Overview

This Returns & Refund Policy outlines how Soilux handles returns, refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

2 Change-of-Mind Returns

  • Soilux may, at its discretion, accept returns for change of mind.
  • To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:
    • The product must be unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging; and
    • The return request must be made within 14 days of delivery.
  • Change-of-mind returns do not apply to:
    • Used products;
    • Products damaged due to misuse;
    • Consumables (including used or opened carbon filters).
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

3 Faulty or Defective Products (ACL Consumer Guarantees)

Soilux complies with Australian Consumer Law, which provides guarantees that products will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.

Major Failures

If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to:

  • A replacement, or
  • A refund.

A major failure includes, for example, where the product:

  • Is unsafe;
  • Is significantly different from its description;
  • Has a defect that would have stopped you from buying it had you known about it.

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the product; or
  • Provide a refund.

4 Return Process

  • Customers must contact Soilux Support before returning any product.
  • Proof of purchase may be required.
  • Returned products must be sent using the method instructed by Soilux.

5 Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

6 Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Where a return is due to a major failure, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by Soilux.
